Another year older...man that sucks!!!

Well, here it is. My 26th birthday. I am now on the decline towards 50. I can no longer apply for shows like The Real World or Road Rules (damn). I sit back and think, "Damn, I'm starting to get old." Sure, the older readers will probably blast my site with comments about how I'm younger than them or whatever, but then again, here I am...married....with 2 children. Bachelorhood waved bye bye long ago. Freedom to do what I want when I want is gone. Our oldest starts kindergarten this fall. The youngest the year after that. Gone are spontaneous road trips with unknown destinations and no worries...in its place are family trips to tourist traps and family gatherings. I can't complain about any of it because I love my wife and kids. It just really makes you sit back and think, "Fuck me! When did I become my parents?" So here it stands. I'm getting older, and with each passing year, that inner child within is getting harder to hear. Sigh.
